Agapé Care is a family-run care agency in Cape Town dedicated to raising the standard of home-based care in South Africa.

Our Story
It all started with a caregiver – aptly called Grace.
When my mother became seriously ill and my father began chemotherapy for lymphoma, they needed care — and I needed to find a way to support them. Then along came Grace. She was an absolute God-send.
Grace swept in like an angel. Beyond her skill as a caregiver, she brought warmth, steadiness, and compassion into our home. She became a dear friend to my mother in her final months, and an ongoing support for my father through his recovery. Because of her, my parents were able to remain in the place they loved most — their home — surrounded by comfort, familiarity, and peace.
Through Grace, I witnessed first-hand the incredible impact that the right caregiver can have on someone’s life, and the profound difference that home-based care makes — not just for the person receiving care, but for the entire family.
That’s when the dream was born: to offer that same transformative experience to others — care that uplifts, restores confidence, and allows people to stay where they truly belong.
Grace became the very first Agapé caregiver, and today she continues to care for families and train others with the same heart and excellence that inspired our beginning.

Jennifer leads caregiver recruitment and vetting, and is the primary point of contact for families throughout their care journey.
Sr Beverley Hill
Lead Nursing Consultant
Sr Beverly conducts client needs assessments and guides caregiver training as an independent registered nurse consulting with Agapé Care.
